Love knows no bounds, as your parents proved! A dark passage in our history as human beings, yet humanity shines through even the darkest hours! Thank you for sharing this with us!

Martin,
Thank you so much for sharing such intimate family details. My son and I just mentioned yesterday that we should watch Schindler's List again as my son was probably around 14 when he first saw it with me. He is now 20 and I think it is time for him to watch it again and better understand and acknowledge the horrors of the Holocaust because it can not be forgotten. We are Hispanic and Catholic but I have always been intrigued, horrified and passionate about what the Jewish people went through. I will continue to spend time on the website and I will watch the clips.

Again, thank you for sharing this. Your article is very moving and intimate. You are so blessed to have your father with you and your improved relationship. I gasped when I read that your mother passed on last year. Continue to share the story of your parents and the Jewish people. You are supported by many. Take care!

I had no concept of reading this -- I was simply watching your words unfold in my head as the "movie of your life" played. Looking forward to more from you.
Thank you for sharing. I also agree, no such thing as a coincidence!!

Dear Martin,

Thank you so much for your story, I shivered when I red it. When is your film coming? I am swedish so I am not so good at writing english, better at talking:)

My story about my family is not at all anything with love, unfortenelly! My father was jewish, took himself to Sweden with falce papers and lied to my mother, who was 17 years younger, she was born 1933 in Rostock and my father Jozef Dancyger in Warszawa 1917. I am writing a book, ( I´m authour) about my childhood and I still don´t know who I am. My mother is still alive but my fahter died 1979, without I ever knewing him. But I really would like to see our film! I would be something importent for the Swedes as well.
Have you been i contact with anyone in Sweden?
Once again, your story was wonderful, I wish it was main.
Sincerrely

thank you for the insight into your life this is one that i will enjoy if that is the word for it.I visited Auschwitz in march 2010 and the sense of sadness and loss is overwhelming. It was a beautiful day but we heard no birds singing. We saw some people just sat with tears in their eyes. The feeling of not wanting to speak is foremost on your mind because you don't quite know what to say . It is unbelievable what happened there and many other camps and people are shocked by what happened but yet there is still horror in the world. When will the human race ever learn to love one another and except people for who they are?

Martin,

Absolutely brilliant work. I have spent the last few evenings going over everything on here watching the videos reading the articles and comments and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to the finished productions. Watching the clip of your Father talking made me feel a connection to someone who has experienced and lived and breathed the awfulness of an unforgiveable act that was the holocaust, but it did leave me wanting to see more.

I've posted the link on my Facebook so others will also check it out, and hoepfully, will spread the word. Really, we need to make sure people understand the repercussions of yet another war. God bless you.
