Suggest you read “Why the Jews?: The Reason for Antisemiitism” by Dennis Praeger

I’ve watched about half the video clips. Being the daughter of Holocaust survivors, I was moved by all of it. Recently Leon Leyson was a guest at the hotel where my daughter works in Raleigh, NC. I mentioned his name to the one living relative from my mothers’ side, Helga Gruenberg. She survived Dr. Mengele. I think every history student should be required to watch these along with Schindlers List. Every living survivor should be interviewed and their experiences documented. There are so few left. My mother took me to Krakow including a trip to Auschwitz when I was 16. I’ll never forget it…I don’t have the finances to take my own children there, but I did take them to the Museum in Washington DC. Thank you Mr Kent I’ll pass this along to anyone that will take the time to watch..
Hey Martin,
That work is to die for. Many thanks for bringing so many interesting facts to light.
I am proud to be associated with a person who is concerned with doing such good deeds.
Take care my friend,

Thanks for this documentary. I can’t stop wondering how so many people (nazis) could have possibly agreed on systematically killing so many human beings. This makes me scared of the human race sometimes. It also makes me think that our species is probably the most stupid of animals on Earth…
Let’s hope nothing like this will ever happen again.
I am very fascinated by the figure of Schindler and in general by the whole history of the Holocaust. I see over and over again movies and documentaries and read books on this subject to find answers to what happened, but frankly I can not find it. I haven’t Jewish origins, nor had relatives involved in those sad events, but I believe that we can not be indifferent to what happened.

I am fascinated by Oscar Schlinder and the persons who saved Jewish people during the second world war.
I am not Jewish but it seems very important to know what happened during the war. It is terrible that so many people were killed because of their religion or opinion, as in Africa today.
i think what Schindler did was fantastic “he believe that what he did for his jews is nothing less than miraculas and he should be hailed as a saint.
i honestly had never heard of him untill spielberg made the film and it brought tears to my eyes, now i watch the film regularly and it always gets me, its a pity there was not more people like him who would stand up against the nazi war machine i watch schienlers list and the boy in the striped pyjamas and i just can not believe that people could be so evil to fellow human beings and how anybody could turn a blind eye to such evil are as bad as the perpatraitors…
I have always watched programs that have dealt with the Holocaust and I have never understood why. This is such a painful thing and what really hurts is that nations knew what was happening and did nothing. In Boston, there is a Holocaust Memorial. I went to see it and it was haunting. I was up half the night with bad dreams after going there. Mr. Kent, I am so glad you are doing this. It’s important. People need to know and to not forget, never forget so that this does not happen again.
Oh what a touching tribute to a man, who sadly was rejected by his own people and Germany overall. I did learn of other philanthropic efforts he did that were not covered in the movie and can only come to one conclusion that this man was indeed protected by God during that evil and very deadly time in Europe. God walked with this man while he saved thousands in that camp, that is my conclusion. I know he sits at the hand of God and His loving son, Jesus Christ.
Hi Mr. Kent
I saw all of the 7 video clips and I so wished they had made the movie as you have it documented. I had two of my granddaughters Andrea age (10) and Hannah age (9) watch the Schindler movie. Incredibly, they had previously been told in school that it never happened. They now realize that it did. I’ve also had them watch the Diary of Anne Frank — its changed them in a way that they take nothing for granted. My mother died at the age of 93 and I remember her telling me about what happened to the Jews when I was about 16 years old. We Love Oskar ..God Bless
Your Schindler videos sustained my interest about the Holocaust The movie is compelling enough; watching your videos made it more real. Spielberg translated the victims’ stories as close as possible to the truth as seen in the videos that you made. The pictures are amazing since it captured the horror and the agony of the Jews at the time. Even seeing the real Goeth in pictures made me wish I could lay my hands on him in defense of the victims! I wonder who took those pictures that were well-preserved for future use? The Schindler interview is the best part of the video, as of course, you cannot help but admire him for what he has done. Again, my sincerest appreciation for your efforts as well in bringing this closer to people like me.
Mr. Kent, I saw some of the clips, — its interesting to learn that Hitler killed so many Jewish people. Its horrible, I also just learned that Schindler’s wife was disgusted by Hitler’s plan as well. It makes me wonder how many German families helped out the Jews throughout the country?
Martin,
Your telling of the story is amazing and very informative, filling in a few gaps left out of the big hit Schindler’s List. It’s so sad that Oskar had to walk away from his fortunes, but speaks volumes of the man. He struggled so much after the war but was still so loved and admired by the Jewish community that they helped him numerous times; if anything my respect for him has grown even more. I shall be spending some time reading through the rest of your website and I dare say enjoying it. Please keep me updated on “Years Later We Would Remember.”
Warmest Regards
Chaz
My respect in Oskar is immense, he was in a position to help the Jewish people, and he did. I am glad that he had a conscience. My thoughts go out to all the Jewish people that had to endure this awful, cruel experience. The Jewish people would be starved, humiliated and left with no dignity at all. The scare is deeper for those where whole generations have been wiped from the face of the earth, as if someone just wiped the chalk from a class room blackboard. Jewish people are proud and courageous people, what man on this earth would put people in a position, where they could not protect themselves or their own families. This could only be an animal of a leader, this was not a human being. Any human being that would do this to another human being is only described in my eyes as an ANIMAL, this also goes for the followers that would carry out such cruel acts.
Thank you for educating us all, by making such wonderful documentaries.

this website is so wonderfull so informative was sorry to hear your mother had died god bless her.
what can one say about this man he done so much for so many and many more if he could have i sometimes sit and think what it must have been like in them days of the war and what the jewish people had to face day by day the suffering the pain oh god it must have been so horrendas and unimangiable.
all this happened in the past so its looked upon as history well i tell you this should never ever be forgotten NEVER!!!
so please keep up the good work

Hello Sir,
It was wonderful to see the real images of one of the greatest man who ever lived on earth, OSKAR. It is a really an inspiring story. I can see in their eyes how grateful they were to Schindler. Even Millions of dollars can not stand for that One teardrop they shed for Oskar today. Can’t believe a Nazi held them more than 4 Years to save from other Nazis when a Jew’s life was considered less than a dog’s life. What wrong did they do Hitler? “To save one life is as if you have saved the world.” Yes, he really saved many people’s world.
Your father’s was also great, your father and mother are now part of history.
Sad part is, still these kinds of massacres are happening in our world. World leaders and the UN are simply watching. You might have heard about Rwanda’s Holocaust. Now, in Sri Lanka, More people are massacred and still many people were inside barbed wire because they are TAMILS. I relate the experience of Jews to the Tamils of Sri lanka. (I am also a Tamil). I cried many nights — that they did not have an Oskar to save them.
God, Please Stop these Humans who kill fellow humans…..
All the Best Martin for your future endeavours
- Rajesh
Mr.Kent,
Thank you so much. I have been trying to find more info. on Oskar Schindler — and your documentary was so informative and as entertaining, as the Spielberg film. I hope you can keep me updated when your next will come out about your parents, because i really want to see it and i have interested many friends and family in your story. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Hello Martin,
Your documentary on Oskar Schindler enriched me with a volume of facts. In my opinion, the paradoxical nature of Oskar’s character draws us to him and perhaps that might have prompted you even more to make him the subject of the documentary, but in no way belittling his humane contribution. I will be watching “Years Later We Would Remember” soon. Please do keep such wonderful documentaries coming.
Regards,
Sayandeep
When I was in Krackow in 2008. I visited Schindler’s factory, they were doing building work to it, turning it into a museum.[I visited it again in October 2009 and it is not yet finished] I asked a Polish lady who was in a front office if I could look around. There were 5 of us and she showed us all around the factory,we stood in the buildings which were just empty shells and looked around and tried to visualize the space when the Jews were working here, this was a very moving experience. What a wonderfull man he must have been,God bless him.
.
Excellant documentary. Keep up the good work. Kinda let you think how a process gradually comes to such a point that it amounts to genocide, how one man can sweep up the masses to believe and suppport in his immoral views. It is even stranger to understand how such an individual can can get other people to perform terrible acts on others. Sadly the holocast will not be the only one to have happened, similar sitations is breeding in Africa and history will repeat itself over time
The suffering of the Jews and others that went on in the mid 20th century, is more than the average person can understand. The devastation is as much as the witness at the time can understand. Even only half of what happened is overwhelmiing. I trust the Lord will never let this happen again. the human misery is too much. WHO ARE WE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT LIFE WHEN THINGS LIKE THIS GO ON?
ROLEY
Dear Sir,
Having just read Martin Gilbert’s “The Holocaust,” which brought me to tears, the burning images that haunt me are of the innocent children who needed a warm, kindly hand to lead them to safety but were instead murdered by those subhuman creatures. It may sound corny, but if i had one wish I would bring them all home. Rest in peace. You may be gone but never forgotten. There have been great men — and there was Oskar Schindler.
God bless
Nick
Hi Martin,
First of all congrats for such enlightening videos…I am an historian by profession and had read enough about the Holocaust in my post-graduate days in the University of Delhi…But, the real interest stemmed after watching the Spielberg movie…Now, to add to that experience is your website..I have seen all your videos on Oscar Schindler and others…I saw the one on your father, too, and must admit he is a brave man..About Oscar Schindler, the only words I have is ‘a man should be like him..who single-handedly saved thousand lives..’ History will always remember him…
Great work, Martin…Best wishes to you..
Hi Martin,
I have seen your videos and must confess the experience was really enlightening..I was especially moved by the documentary which has your father doing the narration..It was much like revisiting the past through the eyes and words of a man who was a witness to the ugly pogroms that marked the Nazi era.
Wishing you all the best in all your works and life,
I remain
Yours sincerely,

It is still mind blowing what happened not that long ago. I am so glad that we can all learn from this. What struck me the most is that the killing stopped but there are still generations that suffer from the results. The world will remember. Keep up the good work. Let the truth be known!
God bless
Martin, I am able to see your work is great. Because of you, we are able to know the truth, and the heroism. Those must have been the most horrifying times for the people born in that era. I pray to God for those who lost their lives, just because one community was selfish enough and tried their best to wipe out the other.
i would like to see the whole documentary. Can you suggest where i can find it?
Once again, great job. Keep it up.
